    The old felt filter on my Pool Blaster 8 deteriorated. The local pool company, where I purchased the Blaster, did not have new ones and had to order them. I ordered this one, priced at approx. $23. With shipping a little over $26. The one from my local company was $42. Same thing. I informed the local company to deal directly with the manufacturer in the future. My new filter is perfect I will order direct in the future.

    The original filter made of felt-like material clogged and was difficult to clean. The new one appears stronger, and allows for greater suction for my pool blaster, which is now several years old. It is stronger with the new filter, which is much easier to clean !
